About

The Grit & Grace Way

Mission

The Grit & Grace Way exists to be a mouthpiece for the Gospel.  A vessel for truth, light, and hope. A space for anyone in any season of life, looking to stay close to God.

Words carry so much meaning. They can be healing, guiding, clarifying, correcting, empowering… they can give way to broken hearts poured out to God, bent knees, and lifted hands.

My prayer and purpose for this space is to encourage you, equip you with unchanging truth, and spur you on in your pursuit of Christ.

These words won’t be fluffy or always easy to swallow, because the truth of the Gospel is sometimes really hard to accept. The intention here is to reflect the raw, honest thoughts and feelings of walking in the tension of the now and not yet. Because in the darkest and hardest moments of your life, it isn’t pretty, but God is steadfast. His grace abounds. His love is near. His Word is active and alive.

So I’m inviting you to join me as I search for and cling to grace amidst the grit of life.

About the Author

Hey there! I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Kailey and for over 10 years now I have wrestled with what it looks like to walk closely with the Lord and live surrendered to His purpose for my life. Over 5 years ago, He very clearly called me in the direction of Bible teaching and discipling others. And while the image of this has changed very much lately, what has remained constant is the healing process of journaling and externally processing the truths the Holy Spirit wants to reveal as I dive into scripture.

I am a life-long learner, and I get so excited when God reveals more and more of the mystery behind His divine plans and providence. So I decided to take to this space online to begin to share and sow what He is teaching me in all of the moments of life – the dark, the gritty, the full, and the questioning ones.

As I grow in my faith, I am committed to sharing what it can look like as we become sanctified and draw ever closer to eternity with Christ. My goal here is to learn alongside you, cheer you on, and refine the lens with which we view life here on Earth. I am expectant and full of hope of all that the Lord will do, and I am excited to run with you!

Growing in grace,

Kailey
